Jim & Kim couldn't do more to accommodate their guests! We went for a last fall ATV trip and Jim was so helpful to ensure we had great rides and didn't get lost. Coming back to a wonderful hot meal in a woodstove heated dining room in the cool evenings topped off the day. The grounds and lodge rooms are well equipped and comfortingly rustic, overlooking the lake. Look forward to coming again next season! Suggestion: more hooks in the rooms to hang coats and gear
We had an absolutely amazing time here! The property itself is beautiful, and the food was fantastic, but what truly set this place apart was the incredible hospitality. The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A special shout-out to the owner, who went above and beyond by helping my friend fix his snowmobile. That kind of generosity truly saved our trip! We can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for great food, a stunning setting, and genuine, helpful service. We will definitely be back!
My boyfriend & I went to the Sportsman's Lodge for a weekend ATV trip, and we're so glad we did! Jim was so incredibly helpful with everything, check in & check out went super smooth. He provided all the information we needed to have a successful day on the trails!! He told us all the best spots to hit. The food was amazing, breakfast & dinner, Kim never disappointed with her cozy home cooked meals! We will definitely be back next year when the weather is a bit warmer! Ive been meaning to write this review for some time as we have had such an incredible experience at the Sportmans' Lodge. This past summer was our third time returning. We dont stay overnight at the lodge, but we use it to safely park our car, rent a canoe and other gear, as a launching point for our canoe trip, and as a shuttle service to the access point. Jim is so kind and helpful and he has been a pleasure to work with. He's picked us up early when there was an impending storm, came to our rescue when we had an issue with our canoe, showed us which campsites to stay on and which ones to avoid, and welcomed us into the lodge when we needed a cold drink and a bathroom after a long drive! I couldn't recommend the Sportsmans lodge enough! We will definitely be back!
Had a great time at the Sportsmans Lodge. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food far exceeded expectations. You can access two different snowmobile trails from the lodge, leading to endless trails beyond, and there is fuel on site. Jim went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember. Thanks again!!
A fantastic retreat from everyday life; log buildings, warm rooms, great food, and the owners Jimmy and Kim are accommodating, friendly and just… great. Beautiful wilderness walks, a magnificent lake, and all the wonders of Temagami at your doorstep. The food is simple but excellent. I can’t praise this place enough!
Just finished up another amazing few days based out of the Sportsman. Jim and Kim are such amazing hosts and the rest of the staff are great as well. We even managed a spot to do a minor repair on a sled. Without that our trip could have been ruined. Will definitely be back again and again and again.
Five stars for Jim and Kim! Fantastic snowmobiling, great food, and a fun atmosphere with other guests. Jim even went above and beyond to help fix our sled issue. Highly recommend!
